Sensex falls! These stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 15.91 points down at 73860.91 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Shanti Spintex(down 10.37 per cent), Achyut Healthcare(down 9.69 per cent), Rita Finance and Lea(down 8.04 per cent), Jayatma Industries(down 6.44 per cent) and Atharv Enterpr(down 6.08 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 14 stocks traded in the green, while 36 stocks traded in the red.

The Nifty index was trading 10.91 points down at 22423.75.

On the BSE, Yarn Syndicate(PP), Shalimar Prod and IEL Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week lows, while KEC Int., Dhanlaxmi Fab, Spectrum Foods, Ashish Poly and SCI Land and Assets touched their fresh 52-week highs.
