Letter: Thanks to Vail Resorts’ EpicPromise

The Vail Valley Charitable Fund’s mission is to support Vail Valley neighbors facing a medical crisis or long-term illness through our direct aid and extended grant fundraisers. We fuel this and all programs in various ways, but the most significant fundraising effort has always come from YOU — we’ve been successful through the grassroots efforts of neighbors helping neighbors. Not only do individual people share their wealth, but so do our community businesses, large and small.

As we prepare for our summer event season, I thank Vail Resorts EpicPromise for its long-standing support through its In-Kind Gifts program. We assemble an incredible silent auction for each event offering products and services from generous businesses in our valley. Like they do each year, Vail Resorts EpicPromise has given us a spectacular offering — Epic passes, golf, lodging, retail and spa. This community loves to support the Vail Resorts products and services; we are grateful EpicPromise pays that support forward by giving us a sizeable offering of what this community loves.

Please join us for our scheduled events and keep your eyes open for new ones as they come up. We kick the summer off on June 22 with the Vail Recreation District and the Dynafit Summer Solstice Trail Run — a 5 and 10K plus a kid’s fun run. Join us again for the LG TRI at the Siena Valley Club in Gypsum on July 13. In both cases, bring your wallet and support our silent auctions. Thank you, Vail Resorts EpicPromise, for helping us offer a highly anticipated community-based silent auction that adds to the fun and community spirit found at each of our events.
