The glitch-prone Irish bank’s latest “technical difficulty” blocked users from logging into their accounts or completing some credit card transactions online
Bank Of Ireland’has restored access to its online banking operations after an outage left customers without services for four hours.
The outage, which the bank has put down to an unspecified “technical issue”, saw customers locked out of their online banking accounts through Bank Of Ireland’s apps and websites.

"We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused to our customers today.”
During the outage, attempts to log on were met by error messages, while some customers could also not use their Bank Of Ireland credit cards online because the bank was unable to fulfil the verification process.
