Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 58.64 points up at 73962.55 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, VCK Cap Market(down 9.35 per cent), Atharv Enterpr(down 6.77 per cent), KK Shah Hospitals(down 6.62 per cent), Intec Capital(down 6.42 per cent) and Goenka Bus. & Fin.(down 6.23 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 19 stocks traded in the green, while 31 stocks traded in the red.

The Nifty index was trading 7.46 points up at 22460.75.

On the BSE, VCK Cap Market, IEL Ltd., Garbi Finvest, Satra Prop. and Gopal Snacks hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Viceroy Hotels, Mitsu Chem Plast(PP), GE Power India, DJ Mediaprint & Logi and Ashish Poly touched their fresh 52-week highs.
