Meta's WhatsApp down for thousands as users report problems with Instagram

Meta Platforms-owned WhatsApp was down for thousands of users on Wednesday, according to outage tracking website Downdetector.com.

More than 5,000 users reported problems with the messaging app in Ireland while 235 had issues with Instagram and 86 with Facebook.
