Jennifer Lopez Goes Sky-High in Platform Sandals With Ben Affleck in Off-White Sneakers
Jennifer Lopez stepped out in sky-high neutral platform sandals to dine with husband Ben Affleck at buzzy SoHo brunch spot Sadelle’s and enjoy a sunny spring day in New York City on March 30.
The celebrity couple were photographed arm-in-arm leaving Sadelle’s and walking around Manhattan. Lopez’s shoes featured a peep-toe and thick straps, topped by an approximately three-inch platform and six-inch chunky heel. The smooth leather was an all-over neutral light peach color.
Affleck fittingly wore Off-White’s black-and-white “Out Of Office” low-top leather sneakers for their day on the town. The designer kicks feature an arrow emblem and retail for $650.
Lopez tends to favor show-stopping tall heels, be they stilettos, boots, strappy sandals or platforms. On another recent date with Affleck, at the Lakers game on March 16, she wore blue bedazzled Jimmy Choo Blake 110 knee-high boots with a four-inch wedge heel. At Elle’s 2023 Women in Hollywood Celebration in December, she walked the red carpet in black satin 6.4-inch platform stilettos from Christian Louboutin.
Platform Sandals
Platforms have made a comeback in recent years, from chunky elevated sneakers and sandals to pumps and heeled sandals. Yves Saint Laurent, Prada, Gucci, Christian Louboutin and other luxury designers currently offer several platform sandal styles. The elevated sole helps compensate for the height of the heel, allowing for more height than a traditional pump without any added discomfort.

The dancer, singer, and actor has been making a mark in fashion since the ’90s and was presented with the Council of Fashion Designers of America Fashion Icon Award in 2019. Over the years, she has been an ambassador for brands including Coach, Versace, Guess and more.
Lopez has also dabbled in footwear in her career, partnering with Giuseppe Zanotti on a 2017 luxury shoe collection. In 2020, Lopez launched a namesake shoe line with DSW and in 2023, brought her JLO shoe brand to Revolve. The summer 2023 JLO x Revolve shoe line featured sparkly green chunky platform heels, pink feathered stiletto mules and more.
