2024 NCAA Basketball Tournament Brackets

The UConn football program has announced the addition of Brad Robbins as the new quarterbacks coach and passing game coordinator.
Robbins joins the Huskies after spending the 2023 season as wide receivers coach and pass game coordinator at Tennessee Tech.
He’ll look to upgrade a passing game that averaged just 190 yards per game last season and ranked near the bottom in FBS football in yards per game and yards per play.
Prior to his time at Tennessee Tech, Robbins spend three seasons as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at North Greenville University. His 2022 offense averaged 403 yards per game and 5.9 yards per play while putting up 27 points per game facing the third toughest ranked schedule in Division II. Quarterback Dylan Ramierz set school records for passing yards (2,570), total yards (2,800) and touchdowns accounted for (28) as a freshman. Running back Corey Watkins had over 1,000 yards rushing, becoming the first player at NGU to hit the century mark since 2016.

Robbins has also spent time at Charleston Southern and Virginia Military Institute.
He graduated from the University of Virginia’s College at Wise in 2018, and was inducted into the school’s Hall of Fame as a quarterback and All-American in baseball.
Robbins began his coaching career at the University of Virginia where he was an assistant recruiting coordinator in 2010 and then a graduate assistant working with the linebackers and safeties. He earned his master’s degree in student affairs in higher education.
Earlier this offseason, UConn announced the addition of former Mississippi State assistant Matt Brock as their new defensive coordinator. Offensive coordinator Nick Charlton left the program earlier this month to take a job with the Cleveland Browns.
