Manchester United's players have been criticised for not consistently giving their all.

That comes from former Liverpool striker Dean Saunders who has also named four stars that the Premier League giants should sign to improve their effort levels.

United's bid for a top-four finish took a huge hit when they drew 1-1 with Brentford with Mason Mount's stoppage-time goal cancelled out by Kristoffer Ajer moments later.

The Bees dominated the match and many argue they should have won, with their northern opposition dropping yet more points.

Many of United's players have been criticised for poor performances this season and Saturday's match was no exception, with Saunders insisting some aren't putting the effort in.

Speaking on talkSPORT, he said: "The least you expect is, if you give me everything every week, and you turn up and you look after yourself during the week, you give yourself every possible chance to play well on Saturdays.
