Maanum later found out her side were victorious from manager Jonas Eidevall as she was helped into a stable and responsive condition.

Eidevall called for the game to stop before Katie McCabe sprinted to her side, immediately signalling for medical attention.

Maanum's mother was not at Molinuex and described her family's 'nightmare' as they witnessed the incident on TV in Norway.

Frida's mother, Liz-Heidi Leonhardsen told Norwegian outlet VG: "It was a nightmare to follow the whole thing on TV without knowing what was going on.

She added: "Fortunately, I received a relatively quick update from a friend of hers who was at the match - Frida is doing well now and she is being followed up by the medical team at Arsenal."

Maanum travelled with her side back to London after her manager gave a positive update on her situation.

"I have been able to have a conversation with her but not on a medical perspective," Arsenal boss Eidevall told talkSPORT.

"I just checked in with her, how she is doing and telling her that we won and understanding a little bit about the next steps, but I don't have any medical update.
