Authorities investigating possible drowning at Falls Lake

The Wake County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a possible drowning on Monday.

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies responded to a report near the Holly Point boat ramp at Falls Lake.

The sheriff's office and the Northern Wake Fire Department are currently searching the lake.

It is unclear how many people the sheriff’s office is searching for.
