TCP revises fees for Regional Plan zoning

The Town and Country Planning (TCP) department has revised the processing fees and other fees for alteration/modification in the Regional Plan for rectification of inadvertent errors and correction of inconsistent/incoherent
zoning proposals.

According to the revised notification issued by the Town and Country Planning department, area of the land up to 500 square metres in respect of which correction is proposed; the fee for processing of application is Rs 5,000, above 501 square metres up to 20,000 and above is Rs 10,000.

Fee for correction of inconsistent/incoherent zoning provisions which amount to change of zone of land to settlement zone or sub-zone settlement (Commercial) per square metre of land is Rs 50 for area up to 500 square metres, and above 501 square metres of area is Rs 1,000 per square metres of land.

Fee for correction of inconsistent/incoherent zoning provisions which amount to change of zone of land to Industrial zone per square metre of land is fixed between Rs 250 to Rs 500 and fee for correction of inconsistent/incoherent zoning provisions which amount to change of zone of land to institutional zone or any other zone per square metre of land is fixed between Rs 150
to Rs 250.
