The truth about the past looms large over season two of Interview With the Vampire as Louis (Jacob Anderson) continues to recount his life story to journalist Daniel Molloy (Eric Bogosian). And for the vampire there seems to be a lot of bloody unearthing to do.

The latest trailer for the Anne Rice Immortal Universe series picks up from Claudia (Delainey Hayles) and Louis’ murder attempt on their master, the Vampire Lestat de Lioncourt (Sam Reid), who they leave behind in New Orleans. Or at least they hope, as they’re haunted by his presence even as they make their European escape.

From the looks of it, even when in Paris they just can’t seem to shake Lestat, as he too had his own stint with the Old World vampires Louis and Claudia seek out at the Theatre Des Vampires. There Louis finds out more about his maker and meets the Vampire Armand (Assad Zaman). Their meet-cute might begin the love affair of their immortal lives but not without baggage (we’re guessing Lestat) and Claudia feeling pushed out again. And in the present, Molloy will not only help get to the bottom of it but might also be involved with suppressed memories of his own from meeting Louis.
