One person killed, two people injured in crash on Monday in Raleigh

Police are investigating a deadly crash on Monday in Raleigh.

According to the Raleigh Police Department, the crash happened on Sunnybrook Road near Bright Creek Falls Trail.

Police said one person died and two people went to the hospital. One of the injured has serious but non-life-threatening injuries and the other does not have serious injuries.

It is unclear what caused the crash, but authorities said the road is closed near Brightcreek Falls Trail while they investigate.
