Global card network VISA has launched a fresh campaign in Kempegowda International Airport at Bengaluru supported by a campaign management tool from payments start-up firm PhiCommerce. This new three-month campaign uses PhiCommerce’s Camphire tool in campaign creation, configuration, issuance, redemption, payments and settlements as well as analytics.
As part of the campaign, the card network is offering a Rs 500 coupon code which can be redeemed in over 150 participating outlets within the airport, subject to terms and conditions. This innovative campaign, agnostic to merchants operating at the airport, is open for both Visa credit and debit card holders exclusively for the outlets within the Bengaluru International Airport Limited (BIAL) payment platform.
Kempegowda International Airport uses PhiCommerce omni channel payment platform for digital payments including its payment gateway in an exclusive arrangement. The fintech firm’s campaign management tool allows businesses to define campaign essentials, establish specific rules and deploy campaigns across various channels, including WhatsApp, QR codes, print, SMS, email, and other channels.
BIAL, the operator of Kempegowda international airport, had conducted a promotional marketing campaign on the Camphire platform last year, through various participating outlets. An internal research showed that an omnichannel campaign directly integrated into the digital payment has the potential to increase the average sales ticket size by around 20% while transaction volumes could grow up to 25%.
Rajesh Londhe, Co-Founder and Head Payments, PhiCommerce, said, “Camphire, underpinned on PayPhi’s omni-channel payment processing capabilities, unlocks a realm of campaign possibilities, providing enterprises with extensive customization and control over their marketing efforts. By stimulating spending and incentivizing larger purchases, Camphire can significantly accelerate sales growth.”
