Hotelivate is gearing up to present the 19th Annual Hotel Investment Conference – South Asia (HICSA) at the luxurious JW Marriott Bengaluru Prestige Golfshire Resort and Spa, scheduled from April 2nd to 4th, 2024. This year’s event, diverging from its recent themes of resilience and growth post-pandemic, will dive into the rich tapestry of hospitality, with a special focus on culinary innovation. Dubbed “Savouring South Asia: Innovations in Food Tech and Design,” the conference aims to explore and enhance the culinary landscape of South Asia through sustainable practices, delightful experiences, and cutting-edge technology. HICSA 2024 is poised to be a pivotal platform for sharing knowledge, discussing future trends, and fostering industry connections.
On the occasion of HICSA’s 19th year, Manav Thadani, the Founder Chairman of Hotelivate, expressed his enthusiasm for hosting the event in Bengaluru, known as the “Silicon Valley of India.” This location reflects the conference’s focus on technological advancements within the hospitality sector. Thadani highlighted the significance of India in the South Asian hospitality market and the conference’s role in spotlighting investment opportunities, emerging trends, and networking with leading industry figures. HICSA is expected to catalyze investment and innovation in the rapidly evolving sector, thanks in part to the support from various stakeholders, including delegates, sponsors, and speakers, celebrating the convergence of food, beverage, and hospitality.
The conference will feature the participation of three global hospitality CEOs, bringing together a wide spectrum of professionals from the hospitality, real estate, and investment sectors. Notably, Sébastian Bazin of Accor, Mark S. Hoplamazian of Hyatt Hotels Corporation, and Federico J. González of Radisson Hotel Group will be among the speakers. They will share insights on global hospitality trends, focusing on limitless possibilities, the heart of hospitality, and leadership in the evolving industry landscape.
The event will kick off with exclusive interviews and keynote speeches aimed at enriching the content of the conference. The first day will conclude with the HICSA Hotels of the Year Awards, celebrating outstanding hotel developments in South Asia across multiple categories. The following day promises a ‘Culinary Carnival,’ a testament to this year’s theme, showcasing an array of dishes from India’s finest restaurants, emphasizing the gastronomic diversity and richness of the region.
The conference will also include panel discussions, keynote sessions on industry leadership, and the MakeMyTrip General Manager of the Year Awards 2024, recognizing excellence in hotel management. The closing dinner at Falak, The Leela Bhartiya City, will mark the end of an eventful conference, underscoring the commitment to celebrating and advancing the hospitality industry.
