The Crew: Alia Bhatt lauds Kareena, Tabu, Kriti’s film for box office success, says outstanding women

Alia Bhatt is overjoyed with Rajesh A Krishan’s heist comedy Crew team. The film, which starred Kareena Kapoor, Tabu, and Kriti Saon, took the world by surprise by earning the largest opening for a female-led picture at the box office globally. The Gangubai actor congratulated the female actors and their teammates for their accomplishments.
On Friday, Alia posted a poster of Crew on her Instagram Stories, which included the leading ladies of film. This #Crew has smashed the BO, she said with a sparkling emoji. Congratulations to these outstanding women, both on and off screen. She then tagged the producers, Rhea and Ekta Kapoor, in addition to Tabu, Kareena, and Kriti.
Kriti replied to Alia’s Instagram Stories post by adding her best wishes to Aliaa. She also thanked her with a red heart emoji.
Crew had a strong opening at the box office on the first day of its release and carried that momentum into its first Saturday. According to a report, Rajesh A Krishnan’s film collected Rs 9.6 crore on its second day of release. The con comedy has made Rs 18.85 crore so far, the report said.
The story of the film revolves around three friends who work as cabin crew for Kohinoor Airlines. When they find themselves involved in a terrible situation, their peaceful lives are turns upside down. Tabu, Kareena Kapoor, and Kriti Sanon play the main leads in the chick film while Diljit Dosanjh and Kapil Sharma can be seen playing significant roles.
The three have drawn attention for their many crimes, which range from stealing peanut packs intended passengers airplanes to plotting to make a lot of money and up the glam quotient.
Released on March 29, the movie is produced by Balaji Telefilms and Anil Kapoor Film & Communications Network.

No Entry 2: Boney Kapoor reveals having a fight with Anil Kapoor over film’s casting
Boney Kapoor revealed that he will start working on No Entry 2 by the end if this year.

Producer Boney Kapoor announced the sequal to the multi-star comedy film No Entry, which was released in 2005. Boney revealed in a recent interview that Arjun Kapoor, Diljit Dosanjh, and Varun Dhawan will play the lead roles in the second installment.
The film’s original cast included Salman Khan, Fardeen Khan, and Anil Kapoor, in pivotal roles. It will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2025. The Anees Bazmee directed film also features actors like Bipasha Basu, Esha Deol, Lara Dutta, and Celina Jaitley in significant parts.
Boney confirmed No Entry 2 in an interview, saying, the film is on cards, and they are set for it. They will start working on this big one by end of December this year. He said Diljit, Arjun, and Varun has join hands for this multi-starrer film. The producer also reveled that like original film, No entry 2 will also see the contibution of many female actors.
Although the first film was about philandering men, there are rumors that Varun, Diljit, and Arjun may play double roles in the sequel.
The producer went on to say that they are tight-lipped about the sequel’s concept out of concern that it will be copied. Earlier, the idea had become popular and was adapted, or rather replicated, in a few movies. It’s best not to talk about the movie since he did not wanted to reveal its name, Boney said. He used to boast about the unique idea they had, but he later learned that the identical idea was used in another movie, he continued.
During a recent interview, Boney disclosed that his brother Anil Kapoor, who appeared in the first film, is upset with him. It’s because the actor expressed a desire to be in the movie, but Boney said that there was no space.
Boney said he understands that Anil wanted te be a part of No Entry 2 sequel, but there was not room for him. He remarked, he wanted to give an explanation for what he did. The producer said his brother is still not taking with him over the casting issues of the film.
Meanwhile, on workfront, Boney Kapoor is working on his upcoming film Maidaan, which is scheduled to release on April 10.

The film has been written and directed by Imtiaz Ali and tells the story of Punjab’s original rockstar of the masses, the highest record selling artist of his time who emerged from the shadows of poverty and rose to the heights of popularity in the 80s on the sheer power of his music. Amar Singh Chamkila will release on April 12 on Netflix India.
