Two of the picks come from the March 31st Premier League double-header, including the match of the weekend – Manchester City v Arsenal.

Liverpool v Brighton – Liverpool to win and Over 2.5 Goals @ 8/11

There are normally plenty of goals when Liverpool and Brighton clash, with this fixture ending in a 3-3 draw last season.

In fact, there have been three or more goals scored in five of their last six meetings, including a 2-2 draw at the Amex Stadium back in October.

Despite sitting second and losing just one of their last six in the league, the Reds have collected just one clean sheet during that run – that came in their late win at Nottingham Forest.

At the other end of the pitch, Jurgen Klopp’s men have been banging in the goals at Anfield, scoring 16 in their last five home league games.

Brighton head to Merseyside having lost five of their last six away games in all competitions, with all but one seeing three or more goals scored.

There’s no doubt about the game of the weekend in Europe, with third hosting first in the Premier League on Sunday, as Manchester City and Arsenal clash.

Games of this magnitude are normally won and lost in the middle of the park and Jorginho is likely to have his hands full at the Etihad.

With Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard likely to try and get the Gunners going forward, the former Chelsea man will need to act as the screen protecting the Arsenal back four.

It won’t be a big surprise to hear that these two teams are at the top of the Premier League corner stats – City winning 219 to Arsenal’s 214. Mikel Arteta’s men have scored more goals than any other from set pieces.

The home side also top the table for shots on target, with Pep Guardiola’s squad averaging seven per game in their 28 league matches.

Long shot of the day

Girona continue to surprise onlookers in La Liga, with the minnows still sat third with just nine games to go.

Michel’s men are unbeaten in 11 at home, with Real Madrid the only team to beat them at the Estadi Montilivi going into Sunday’s clash with Real Betis.

Another team still in the hunt for European qualification in the Spanish top flight are Real Sociedad, who return to action looking for a third straight win.

On Sunday, the Basque outfit head to Alaves with the home team having won just one of their last seven and currently sat 14 points behind the visitors.

In Germany, there’s a big game at the bottom of the Bundesliga as third-from-bottom Bochum play host to Darmstadt, who are currently rooted to the foot of the table.

Neither team is in good form but Bochum are normally a tough nut to crack at home, beating both Bayern Munich and Stuttgart at the Ruhrstadion this season.

Finally, Real Madrid face a tough test against an in-form Athletic Bilbao team on Sunday evening.

The leaders though are unbeaten in 23 in the league and have won eight of their last nine La Liga matches at the Bernabeu.
