Sunny and warm! Easter weekend brings spring-like temps around 80 degrees
Easter weekend will be beautiful, warm and sunny!
After a chilly start Saturday morning, temps will warm up to a high of 78 degrees. Easter Sunday brings temps in the 80s.
Saturday will be a bit breezy, with gusts up to 30 mph.

- Saturday: Sunny and warm. Highs in the upper 70s.

Egg-cellent weather for Easter weekend
The Easter weekend forecast is looking gorgeous! We'll see plenty of sunshine and warmth.
Both Saturday and Sunday are expected to stay dry for egg hunts and other outdoor festivities.
"The weekend still looks great with highs near 80 degrees and a good amount of sunshine," said WRAL Meteorologist Anthony Baglione.
Saturday is expected to reach a high of 77 degrees. Sunday's high is expected to reach 81 degrees.
The warm streak will continue into next week, with highs in the low 80s on Monday and Tuesday.
The next best chance for rain comes Tuesday night into Wednesday – along with a cold front that will bring temperatures back down into the 60s. WRAL meteorologists will continue to monitor conditions before the Durham Bulls' home opener on Tuesday at the DBAP.
With all this warm weather, the flowers and trees are blooming -- meaning pollen counts are high. If you're sneezing, that could be why!

Eyes on the sky for 2024 total solar eclipse
We're getting closer to the next total solar eclipse for North America, which is happening on April 8.
We won't see a total eclipse in North Carolina, but lots of people will travel to take it in! Ohio will be the closest spot to drive to from Raleigh for the path of totality.
