Harrison Belden, Win Gurney and Max Martinez led the Mira Costa baseball offense in Wednesday’s 9-0 Bay League win over Culver City.
Belden had two hits and three RBIs, Martinez also had two hits and two RBIs and Gurney was 3 for 4 with two doubles.
Niko Arnold also had two hits.
Alito McBean was in control on the mound, allowing just three hits and striking out 11 for the Mustangs (9-7-1, 2-1).
TORRANCE 13, EL SEGUNDO 3: Anthony Macias and Mateo Rickman hit home runs and Slater Nunez and Eshua Desai had three hits apiece for the Tartars (11-4-1, 4-1) in the Pioneer League win.
Torrance broke the game open with an eight-run third inning.
WEST TORRANCE 7, WISEBURN DA VINCI 0: Reef Sharman had three hits and Cale Omanson finished with three RBIs in the Pioneer League win for the Warriors (10-5, 5-1).
Cameron O’Neil had two hits and two RBIs.
Dylan Smith allowed one hit, two walks and struck out 11 for West.
PALOS VERDES 2, REDONDO 1: Noah Garcia and Kaden Stone delivered RBI singles for the Sea Kings (13-7, 2-1).
Stephen Deakins earned the win, allowing one hit with six strikeouts in five innings.
Dylan Leoff allowed two runs on five hits with three walks and four strikeouts for Redondo (7-8, 1-3).
BISHOP MONTGOMERY 4, MARY STAR 3: Brody Cuellar hit his sixth home run of the season for the Knights (4-9) in the nonleague win.
SIMI VALLEY 2, NARBONNE 1: Brandon Dillon went 2 for 3 and Eddie Rosales had a single, RBI and walk in the loss at the San Diego Lions Tournament.
