WCNC Charlotte reports a person was hurt Wednesday while evacuating a plane at Charlotte Douglas International Airport.
Frontier Airlines Flight 1759 from Charlotte to Orlando was in the boarding process when a "strong odor was detected" on the plane. As a precaution, the flight was evacuated by both the jet bridge and the evacuation slides, according to the airline.
The person was treated for minor injuries after falling, officials said.
The airline said all 226 passengers would be assisted with accommodations for other flights.
The initial reports show there wasn't any visible smoke or fire, Frontier Airlines said.
