Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: HDFC Bank(Rs. 4464.52 crore), CDSL(Rs. 3726.32 crore), Shriram Finance(Rs. 3685.57 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 2920.19 crore), RIL(Rs. 2426.30 crore), SBI(Rs. 2214.24 crore), Axis Bank(Rs. 1788.40 crore), Jio Financial Servic(Rs. 1761.14 crore), NTPC(Rs. 1497.98 crore) and Kotak Bank(Rs. 1458.72 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Wednesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 118.96 points up at 22123.65, while BSE Sensex rose 526.01 points to 72996.31.

In the Nifty index, Reliance Industries Ltd.(up 3.56 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 2.26 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 2.13 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(up 1.66 per cent) and Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 1.64 per cent) stood among the top gainers.

On the other hand, UPL Ltd.(down 2.13 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 2.12 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 1.94 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(down 1.58 per cent) and Coal India Ltd.(down 1.50 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
