PROSPECT – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of James “Jay” O’Donnell, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. Jay was taken from us too early, leaving a void that can never be filled. His presence in our lives will forever be cherished and deeply missed.
Jay is survived by his loving wife, Suzanne Duffy O’Donnell; children, Megan and Ryan; mother, Sandra; brothers, William, Brian (Julie), Kevin (Barbara), and his sister Tracie (Don); in-laws, James and Barbara Duffy; sister-in-law Debbie (Charles), brother-in-law James (Kristen); many nieces and nephews, and a host of friends who will carry his memory with them forever.
Rest in peace, Jay. Your love and light will forever shine upon us.
Calling hours will be Monday, April 1, from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Prospect Memorial/The Palmerie Family Funeral Home, 122 Waterbury Road, Prospect. A memorial service will begin at 7:30 p.m. Jay will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery on Tuesday, April 2, at 11 a.m. Family and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home at 9:45 a.m. before leaving in procession to the cemetery at 10:30 a.m.
