Shivaji Rao Gaikwad was Rajinikanth's birth name in Bengaluru. He moved to chennai to follow his passion for performing after working as a conductor in Bengaluru. He debuted in the 1975 film "Apoorva Ragangal" directed by k balachander, in which he costarred with Kamal Haasan. Rajinikanth developed become a powerful influence in indian film throughout time. He is currently among the nation's most renowned actors.
