Sligo man (55) denied hitting female Garda who tried serving summons on him

A 55 year old Enniscrone man who was convicted at Sligo District Court of assaulting a female garda appealed his conviction to the recent sitting of the Circuit Court.
Gerard Stokes, Cahermore Holiday Village, Enniscrone, Co Sligo was charged that on Main St, Enniscrone on March 9 2021 he did engage in intimidating, threatening or abusive behaviour.
