A 55-year-old Enniscorthy man who spent seven years in prison for drugs offences avoided another spell in jail when he appeared before Wexford Circuit Court.

Martin McBride of 110 Gimont Avenue, Enniscorthy, admitted having almost €4,000 worth of illicit substances at his home on April 19, 2021 for sale or supply to others. That was the date on which gardaí and a sniffer dog arrived with a search warrant, entering the premises through the open garage door.
