The University’s sesquicentennial is just around the summer corner! Check out some of the free online exhibits the University Libraries has curated. Visit Celebrating 150 – The University Library’s Sesquicentennial hub. Explore the University Timeline spanning from 1964 through the present. Read about a history of inspired excellence on the University Milestones page. And do not forget to visit the Reno campus and check out the University Libraries for some in-person exhibits including a projected interactive timeline!

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10:30 a.m.: Family Story Time – For children of all ages, with a focus on enjoying literacy and language as a family.
Every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. – Book a Libarian. Get 50 minutes of one-on-one assistance with things such as creating a resume, downloading ebooks, setting up an email account, filing for services, virtual reality, using maker equipment, etc. Reservations are required at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment. Saturday, Mar. 23, 1 p.m. – Paws2Read – come read to a friendly dog and get a book to take home when you are finished!
Tuesday, Mar. 26, 5 p.m. – Book Wyrms D&D – Do you love to play D&D and an adult? This program is designed for adults at all D&D skill levels. Come mingle with other adults as you create your very own tabletop RPG adventure.
Tuesday, Mar. 26, 6:30 p.m. – P.J. Story Time – Get all those wiggles out before bedtime! Come dressed in your p.j.’s and bring your favorite stuffy if you would like!
Wednesday, Mar. 27, 2:30 p.m. – Teen Wednesday – Movie and Trivia – watch a movie, enjoy popcorn, win trivia for a prize!
Apr. 2, 3, and 4, 2-4 p.m. – Dungeons & Dragons Spring Break Camp – Join other teens during this 3 day camp to learn all about D&D and create your own tabletop RPG adventure.
Tuesday, Apr. 2, 4 p.m. – Tween Tuesday – Water filtration! Learn a new survival skill.
Tuesday, Apr. 2, 4:30 p.m. – Time-Out Tuesday: Terracotta Pot Painting – Our newest library program! Time-out Tuesday has been developed for older adults and best for 55+. Join us for a variety of events that will allow you to disconnect and relax. Will you make something? Maybe. Will you learn something? Hopefully. Will you enjoy yourself? Definitely.
Tuesday, Apr. 2, 6 p.m. – Tahoe Big Year 2024 with TINS! Join us to learn all about TINS Tahoe Big Year Program and see how many birds you can spot in the basin. Presented by Sarah Hockensmith
