ED remand to kejriwal till march 28

Let us tell you that on friday (22 March), the delhi court sent delhi cm arvind kejriwal to ED custody till 28 march in the excise policy case. ED claimed in the court that aam aadmi party (AAP) convenor arvind kejriwal took advantage of being the chief minister of delhi in the alleged excise scam case. delhi cm arvind kejriwal was arrested by ED from his residence on thursday (21 March).

What did Kejriwal's lawyer say?

Senior advocate abhishek Singhvi, appearing for the delhi chief minister, claimed that despite more than 200 raids in the excise policy case, no incriminating material was found showing the AAP leader's involvement in the crime. There is no evidence or material to prove that delhi cm arvind kejriwal did anything wrong or took any advantage of the excise policy. He alleged that the ED has misused its powers under PMLA for political vendetta.
