Former congress MLA from madhya pradesh Manoj Chawla joined the bharatiya janata party in Ratlam on saturday (23 March). He joined the bjp just hours after resigning from the primary membership of congress citing 'personal reasons'. Chawla had represented the Alot assembly constituency in 2018. Chawla was welcomed into the bjp by chief minister Mohan Yadav. On this occasion, another senior congress leader Pramod Guglia also joined the BJP. Yadav is visiting Ratlam, Jhabua, and Alirajpur districts as part of BJP's preparations for the lok sabha elections starting from april 19. bjp has fielded Anita nagar Singh Chauhan from Ratlam lok sabha constituency.

Many other congress workers will also change sides
