Liverpool will play four consecutive away games in ten days after the Premier League confirmed its latest fixture amendments.

The Merseyside derby against Everton was postponed due to the Reds' involvement in the FA Cup quarter-finals.

With Jurgen Klopp's side still competing in the Europa League, only two midweek slots were available between now and the end of the season for rescheduling the trip to Goodison Park.

It has now been announced that Liverpool will travel to Everton on Wednesday, April 24, resulting in a hectic away schedule.

The Reds go to Atalanta for the second-leg of their Europa League quarter-final on April 18, before an away clash with Fulham on April 21.

After making the short journey to face the Toffees, Klopp's side then head to West Ham on April 27 in a Saturday 12.30pm kick-off.

However, if Arsenal are handed a Champions League semi-final tie on April 30, West Ham vs Liverpool will be moved to April 28 at 2pm - which would be more favourable for the Reds.

There is even the possibility of a fifth consecutive away match on May 2 if Liverpool progress to the Europa League semi-finals.

Title-rivals Arsenal and Manchester City both face similar fixture congestion with the possibility of ten games in one month.

Klopp has often expressed his disdain for fixture pile-ups, particularly when a midweek match is followed by the early kick-off on Saturday.
