Triumph has listed the Rocket 3 Storm R and GT variants on its Indian website. The bikes are priced at Rs 21.99 lakh and Rs 22.59 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.
The Rocket 3 Storm edition is lighter and more powerful than the standard version. At its heart is a 2,458cc, inline 3-cylinder engine that produces 180 BHP @ 7,000 rpm and 255 Nm @ 4,000 rpm. That’s 15 BHP and 4 Nm more than before.
The Rocket 3 Storm is based on an aluminium frame suspended by a 47 mm upside-down adjustable fork at the front and a fully adjustable mono-shock at the rear. Braking is handled by dual 320 mm discs at the front, with a single 300 mm disc at the rear.
Besides the upgraded engine, the Rocket 3 Storm gets 10-spoke alloy wheels that are 4 kg lighter than before. The bike also gets features like cruise control, traction control, hill-hold, lean-sensitive ABS, and 4 riding modes. A bi-directional quick-shifter is available as an option.
