Chennai Super Kings began their title defence on a winning note as they defeated Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the IPL 2024 opener at the MA Chidambaran Stadium in Chennai on Friday.
After restricting the Challengers to 173/6, hosts CSK chased it down with eight balls remaining.

This was after Mustafizur took four wickets in his first two overs to reduce RCB to 78 for five.
