Varun Beverages shares rise 0.33% as Sensex climbs

Shares of the Varun Beverages Ltd. traded at Rs 1405.0 on BSE at 11:42AM (IST) on Friday, up 0.33 per cent from previous close.

The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 660.97 and a high of Rs 1560.3.

Earlier, shares of the company saw a gap up opening in the morning.

A total of 34,327 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 11:42AM (IST).

The stock of Varun Beverages Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 182325.33 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 88.68, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 23.16. Return on equity (ROE) was at 29.63 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 328 stocks traded in the green, while 172 stocks were in the red.
