Why is darts the word on everyone’s lips? Why the sudden youth interest? And what does it have to do with a 17-year-old from Runcorn?
The Luas begins to fill at Abbey Street as a mass of fans enter the carriage. Three are dressed as seagulls and one as a bag of chips. A big whoop goes up in the carriage at the arrival of the birds and the passengers begin to chant Chase the Sun, the unofficial anthem of darts.
