Routt County Humane Society calls for pet food donations for community food pantry
As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting pet owners in need, the Routt County Humane Society is launching a pet food drive to replenish supplies for its community food pantry. The pantry provides free dog and cat food to any member of the public facing financial difficulties and struggling to feed their beloved pets.
In light of recent economic challenges faced by many families in the community, the demand for assistance has increased significantly. The Humane Society recognizes the crucial role pets play in the lives of their owners and aims to ensure that no pet goes hungry due to financial constraints.
The Humane Society is calling upon the generosity of individuals and businesses in the community to donate pet food to help support this vital initiative. Donations can be dropped off at the Routt County Humane Society located at 760 Critter Court, open daily from 12-5 p.m.
“We are grateful for the ongoing support of our community, which enables us to extend a helping hand to those in need,” says Executive Director Elaine Hicks. “Your contributions will make a meaningful difference in the lives of both pets and their owners.”
