Ranjit treble helps Albert Developers drub Goa Velha SC; Goa Police SC trounce Nuvem SC 5-0

Navelim/ Parra/ Poriat: Dempo SC Juniors, Albert Developers and Goa Police SC registered wins in their respective encounters of the GFA First Division League on Friday.

Dempo SC Juniors secured a 2-0 win over Mandopa SC at the Navelim ground. Cristiano Gomes opened the scoring in the 12th minute, while Macnelle Dias added another goal just before halftime to seal the win for the Dempo SC side.

Elsewhere, Albert Developers ran riot against Goa Velha SC, thrashing them 4-0 at the Poriat ground. Ranjit Tete was the star of the show, scoring a hat-trick. Rajat Chopdekar added another in the 89th to seal the win.

At Cansaulim, the policemen dominated the match from the start, with striker Sunny Fernandes finding the net twice in the first half. Mayuresh Naik, Nakul Gawas and Deepak Naik added further goals in the second half to complete the 5-0 rout.
