Say goodbye to the 70s and sunshine for a little while. Cooler temperatures and rainy weather are slated for this weekend, with 70-degree temps not the forecast again until late next week.
Thursday will be another sunny day, but highs are about 10 degrees cooler, in the low to mid 60s.

Rain moving in this weekend
Expect sunshine to hold out until Friday afternoon or evening, with a dry commute in the morning, but a rainy commute in the evening.
Rain chances increase through the afternoon, with the heaviest rain expected to arrive Friday night.
Rain and possibly isolated storms are expected to arrive Friday afternoon and linger into Saturday morning.
Forecast models suggest the rain will clear by early Saturday, leaving most of the day dry.

Get ready for a gray day in Raleigh on Saturday. Expect heavy rain, especially during in the morning.
The good news is the rain should become more sporadic as the day progresses. While it won't be a complete washout, it might not be the best day for outdoor activities.
"Rainfall totals should exceed an inch for many of us, which will really help to cleanse the air of all the pollen," said WRAL meteorologist Kat Campbell.
Some areas could see up to three inches of rain this weekend, particularly on the coast.
