Get ready for a gray day in Raleigh on Saturday. Expect heavy rain, especially during in the morning.

The good news is the rain should become more sporadic as the day progresses. While it won't be a complete washout, it might not be the best day for outdoor activities.

"Rainfall totals should exceed an inch for many of us, which will really help to cleanse the air of all the pollen," said WRAL meteorologist Kat Campbell.

Some areas could see up to three inches of rain this weekend, particularly on the coast.
