Kyndryl and Cloudflare Form Alliance for Enterprise Network Transformation and Security

Kyndryl and Cloudflare have announced a comprehensive global strategic alliance aimed at driving enterprise network transformation, multi-cloud innovation, and zero-trust security. This collaboration focuses on modernizing IT infrastructures by simplifying connectivity to multiple clouds and data centers while bolstering network security.

The partnership combines Kyndryl’s extensive consulting services and expertise across enterprise networking, security, and resiliency with Cloudflare’s robust connectivity cloud, offering a comprehensive solution for security, performance, and cloud flexibility.

Initially partnering in May 2023 to modernize enterprise infrastructure with managed WAN-as-a-Service and Cloudflare Zero Trust, Kyndryl and Cloudflare are now focused on further innovation across all technology stacks. Cloudflare’s capabilities will be integrated into Kyndryl’s practice areas, including Network & Edge and Security & Resiliency.

Enterprises worldwide, including a diverse range of sectors from supply chain distribution to automotive manufacturing, have turned to Cloudflare and Kyndryl for complete network modernization, protection, and performance solutions.

Vinod Gopinathan, CIO at Ashok Leyland, a leading automotive manufacturer, emphasized the importance of robust and secure networks for seamless global IT infrastructure operation. He highlighted the benefits of Kyndryl’s managed services with Cloudflare’s DDoS protection and mitigation solution.

The alliance aims to help businesses accelerate digital maturity and network modernization, reduce spending on private network links and appliances, extend network security to offices and data centers, and leverage sustainable networking practices.

Cloudflare has already assisted Kyndryl in transforming its network services and providing cloud cybersecurity protection. This partnership has resulted in reduced IT infrastructure costs, accelerated web traffic, and improved performance for data load balancing.

Paul Savill, Global Practice Leader of Network and Edge Computing at Kyndryl, expressed excitement about expanding the relationship with Cloudflare and enabling enterprises to migrate to next-generation networks.
