Jokes aside, this isn't a third Prime Day. This is just a little spring sale from Jeff Bezos's gigantic e-commerce operation because, frankly, he thinks you're all too broke to buy retail. The party line that we're getting from Amazon is that this is a smaller sale. Still, we're betting on seeing great deals TVs, fashion, fitness gear, tech, and Apple products like AirPods. Sure, they won't be 80 percent off sales like you get from going-out-of-business mattress stores or regular Prime Days, but we're seeing plenty of 50-percent-off deals.
One of the areas we're seeing some good deal action is running shoes. That's right runners. Whether you're crushing marathons or just trying to get in better shape, you can score some new soles. There aren't any giant names like Hoka or Nike, but you can score some deals on shoes from Adidas, Saucony, Asics, Brooks, and even Salomon. If you've been meaning to get a new pair of running shoes, looks like Amazon's Spring Sale is the best time to do it.
