The Waterbury Chorale will present “Visions of Universal Brotherhood & Peace,” an all-Beethoven extravaganza, on April 7 at 4 p.m. at St. John’s Episcopal Church on the Green in Waterbury.
The sacred music concert will feature a 24-piece classical orchestra, professional soloists and the 70 singers of the Waterbury Chorale.
The group will perform the Mass in C, “Choral Fantasy,” the “Hallelujah Chorus” from “Mount of Olives,” “The Heavens Are Telling” and “Ode to Joy.”
The event will feature a pre-concert lecture at 3 p.m. by by Dr. Vincent de Luise.
