Crashes cause delays around the Triangle on Wednesday morning

Two crashes on the Beltline were causing delays during the Wednesday morning commute.

Both crashes are near the Wake Forest Road exit.

A second crash is on I-440 W just before the Wake Forest Road exit. Flashing lights are blocking the left lane

There were delays of up to 20 minutes around 7:30 a.m.

Drivers can avoid most of the delays by picking up I-440 W from Wake Forest Road or Capital Blvd.

In Garner, a crash on Fayetteville Road (or US-401) is causing significant delays. Delays reached up to 16 minutes for drivers headed to Garner from Fuquay-Varina on US-401 northbound.
