Rashmika Mandanna arrives in red saree on Pushpa 2 set, video goes viral

In part 2, she will play the role of Srivalli, who married Pushparaj.

A video of Rashmika Mandanna has gone viral on social media platforms in which she could be seen in a red ‘saree’ at the set of Pushpa 2.  

Rashmika and Allu Arjun’s starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule is a franchise of Pushpa: The Rise, which was released in 2021. In a viral video, the actor could be seen in a red saree with sindoor on her forehead on the franchise set. In part 2, she will play the role of Srivalli, who married Pushparaj. The sequel will focus on her life after marriage. The franchise will be completed soon, as per the reports.

Sharing a BTS picture from the sets on her Instagram handle, the Animal actor wrote, done for the day. Today the team shot at this temple called Yaganti temple. The history of this place is amazing. And the love, the people, the place and something about spending time in a temple feels so amazing, she said in a post.

Earlier, in an interview, Rashmika opened up about her character in the franchise. She said that her role in Pushpa 2 is that now she has become the wife and with becoming the wife of Pushpa, there are still some responsibilities to carry. In Pushpa 2, there is a lot more drama and bigger conflicts that the team is facing as characters. It’s going to be a lot more masala in part 2, she said.

Speaking about the strong bond she shared with the cast and crew, she said that during the shoot of the first instalment, Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1 it started feeling like home. She said that when a team work together in one film and towards the end of the film all feel connected with each other. Then, the team comes up with the part 2.

Pushpa: The Rise, a 2021 action drama film, written and directed by Sukumar. The film featured Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Sunil, Raj Tirandasu. The film emerged as one of the biggest blockbusters in Telugu as well as in Hindi.

Centre seeks report from Punjab government over Sidhu Moosewala’s mother’s IVF treatment at 58

Sidhu Moosewala’s mother, Charan Kaur, welcomed second child via IVF at the age of 58 on March 18.

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare asked Punjabi government to provide a report on the laws pertaining to In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF) babies today. This development comes after late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala’s mother welcomed second child via IVF.

In a letter dated March 14, it requested a report from the Punjab government about Charan Kaur’s IVF treatment.

According to the Ministry, on February 27, it came across a newspaper article stating that Charan Kaur had undergone IVF treatment in order to become pregnant.

Moose Wala’s mother Charan Kaur, who is 58 years old, successfully conceived a child through IVF treatment, according to the ministry. The elderly couple welcomed their second son on March 18, about 22 months after Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead in Punjab.

The health ministry letter said, the Assisted Reproductive Technology (Regulation) Act, 2021’s Section 21(g) specifies that a woman receiving ART services must be between the ages of 21 and 50. Therefore, they requested Punjab government to investigate the matter and submit a report to this department of the action taken in this case in accordance with the ART (Regulation) Act, 2021.

Soon after getting the notice the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)-led Punjab government tweeted on Wednesday, confirming the development. Taking to X, it said, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann always respects the sentiments and dignity of Punjabis, it’s the Central Govt that has asked for the documents.

Moosewala’s father Balkaur Singh claimed that the Punjab government has harassed him. He said in a video that Due to Waheguru’s blessing they are blessed with Shubhdeep (Sidhu Moosewala’s brother). But since this morning, the government has been bugging me, demanding that he needs to provide the baby’s documentation. They are questioning him to prove that this child is legal, he added.

Meanwhile, On May 29, 2022, Moosewala was shot dead in the Mansa district of Punjab. On a Congress ticket from Mansa, the late singer-rapper contested in the Punjab Assembly elections 2022. However, he did not win.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday lauded the entrepreneurial spirit of India’s youth, and said the startup ecosystem is flourishing at an unprecedented pace. He was speaking on the 3rd day of Startup Mahakumbh at Bharat Mandapam. He said the government has given a platform to innovative ideas, connected them to funding channels and established incubators in educational institutions.

PM Modi highlighted that the government started working on startups at the right time when the word did not hold much meaning in the country. Speaking at the event he said the Startup Mahakumbh event, at this scale assumes importance now, when the country is on the development roadmap to 2047.

He said in the past few decades India has made a name for itself in the IT services and software sectors. He said the country is witnessing the growth of startup and innovation culture in India. Speaking about artificial intelligence the Prime Minister said it is India’s time now. He said the world now knows that India has an upper hand when it comes to artificial intelligence.

PM Modi said he uses Artificial intelligence apps as well, to reach audiences of different languages with elections around the corner. He said he reached Tamil and Telugu audiences with the help of artificial intelligence.

He said the ecosystem has grown with over 1.25 lakh registered startups in the country and with which over 12 lakh youngsters are linked. He said the startups are providing employment opportunities on a large scale and the young founders have turned out to be job creators instead of mere job seekers as was the case earlier in the country.

PM Modi said women are leading more than 45%Indian startups and this showed how the daughters of the country were playing an important role in nation building after the technological empowerment.

Elvish Yadav snake venom case: Noida Police arrests two more suspects linked to rave party

Two more people have been arrested in connection with the suspected recreational drug use of snake venom, according to the Noida Police. This comes days after Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner and YouTuber Elvish Yadav was taken into custody.

According to sources, the people who were taken into custody are Haryana residents, who are identified as Ishwar and Vinay.

Following Elvish Yadav’s arrest, the Noida Police have also beefed up their investigation.

Elvish Yadav and five other people were arrested on November 3, 2024, at the Sector 49 police station under the Wildlife Protection Act (WPA) and Section 120 B (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code for allegedly providing snake venom to people in Noida for their purported recreational use.

Five cobras, one python, two sand snakes, one rat snake, and nine other snakes protected under Schedule 1 of the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972 were found in the five suspects’ possession at the time of the arrests, together with a 20ml snake venom tube.

In relation to the case, Elvish Yadav, a resident of Gurugram’s Wazirabad village, was detained by the Noida police on Sunday and subsequently placed under 14 days of judicial detention.

In addition, the police arrested the five accused under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act after a forensic examination revealed that the 20ml liquid they had collected from the krait turned out to be venom.

However, Elvish Yadav’s legal team has asserted that the YouTuber was illegally detained and subsequently imprisoned after being asked to appear in the investigation.

Yadav has been called under Section 160 of the CrPC and has appeared for questioning five times since the complaint was filed in November. Yadav was summoned for questioning on Sunday additionally, but the police illegally held him and falsely displayed him as being arrested. Elvish Yadav’s lawyer Prashant Rathi said that his client was not even told why or for what offense he was being held in jail, which is against the law.
