The Western District, Connecticut Rivers Council, Boy Scouts of America, held its annual Eagle Scout Banquet at Torrington Elks Lodge No. 372 on March 10.
Scouts earning scouting’s highest rank in 2023 were recognized. Special guests included Council Executive Mark Switzer, Council Commissioner Bob Sanford, Elks Exalted Ruler Dan Fisher and Emily Armstrong, director of constituent services for U.S. Rep Jahana Hayes, D-5th District. Jaiden Carter of Troop 52 Oakville represented the 2023 class by addressing the 115 guests.
