Free health testing kits, resources available

UCHealth Jan Bishop Cancer Center in Steamboat Springs, in collaboration with CU School of Medicine’s community outreach and education center, will distribute free health kits on Sunday, March 24.
The kits will be available from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Howelsen Ice Arena in Steamboat Springs.
Stool-based colorectal cancer testing kits will be available to those 45 and older who haven’t had a colonoscopy within the last five years. Additionally, radon testing kits and smoking cessation education and resources will be offered.
CU School of Medicine will provide cancer awareness education and patient navigation support in both English and Spanish.
