Who were the key contributors to Ireland’s second Six Nations in a row? Eight players started all five matches, 32 featured in all with Oli Jager the sole debutant. There were new faces and old heads, a bench that made a huge impact and consistent performers.
This was an excellent squad effort, a reminder of the quality that Andy Farrell has at his disposal as they won their first three games against France, Italy and Wales comprehensively, lost to Marcus Smith’s last-gasp drop-goal at Twickenham and then forced their way over the line against Scotland.
