Irish weather: Sunny start but Bank Holiday Monday to take a turn
Cloudy weather with showers expected for Monday
This Bank Holiday Monday will be dry and cloudy to start before rain extends across the country this afternoon.
Met Éireann forecasts southerly winds that will freshen later this morning as showers push in across western counties before spreading throughout the day.
Highest temperatures of 11 to 13 degrees are expected before dropping to lows of 5 to 8 degrees overnight.
Tomorrow will see a mix of cloudy and sunny spells with a chance of isolated showers.
Temperatures will remain mild, reaching highs of 9 to 13 degrees.

A cloudy and dull start is expected for Wednesday morning with a few showers lingering across southern and eastern areas.
They will slowly die out later in the afternoon with longer dry spells developing nationwide. Met Éireann forecasts light northerly breezes and highs of 9 to 12 degrees before dropping to around 2 to 5 degrees overnight.
Rain and blustery conditions are expected for Thursday, with persistent showers also expected overnight.
According to Met Éireann, current models suggest Friday will be another very unsettled day with widespread showers, possibly heavy at times and strong and gusty winds.
Highs of around 9 to 12 degrees are expected.
