Crystal Unveils 2024 Grand Challenge: Big Wins for Travel Experts

Crystal is marking its magnificent resurgence on the ocean waves by unveiling the 2024 Crystal Grand Challenge, boasting a prize pool of $450,000. This competition is aimed at celebrating the commitment of leading travel advisors while also encouraging new entrants to discover the extraordinary experiences Crystal offers.

The competition invites travel advisors from the United States and Canada to compete in one of two categories: the Crystal Sprint Race or the more demanding Crystal Ocean Race. Participants in the Crystal Sprint Race, who have made bookings for Crystal sailings since its comeback, stand a chance to win a grand prize of $150,000. The top award will go to the advisor who secures fifteen 2024 cruise bookings by May 31, 2024, with additional prizes of $100,000 and $50,000 for the second and third places, respectively. Meanwhile, advisors yet to make a booking on the newly revamped Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony are welcomed to join the Crystal Ocean Race, where the first to make ten bookings for 2024 by December 16, 2024, will claim a $75,000 prize, with $50,000 and $25,000 for the next two top bookers.

2024 Crystal Grand Challenge Eligibility and Terms:

Open exclusively to qualified travel advisors in the United States and Canada, participants must be registered travel advisors with Crystal and engaged in selling cruise bookings. Only new individual full fare bookings qualify for the Challenge; bookings canceled and rebooked do not count towards the tally. Group bookings, charters, and incentive contracts are excluded. Qualifying bookings must have deposits promptly received by Crystal, with back-to-back or combination sailings considered as a single booking. Any bookings qualifying under the Challenge but later canceled will be deducted from the advisor’s total. Pooling of bookings is not allowed, and any discovered inconsistencies may lead to disqualification. A third-party accounting firm will oversee the validation of winners. Additional restrictions apply, and participation is void where prohibited or restricted by the advisor’s parent agency rules. Crystal Sprint Race details specify eligibility for advisors with at least one booking with Crystal between February 1, 2023, and March 1, 2024. Those registering for the Sprint Race must achieve at least fifteen bookings between February 29, 2024, and May 31, 2024, for sailings up to December 31, 2024, to be eligible for prizes up to $150,000 USD, with payouts after the completion of the qualifying voyages.

For the Crystal Ocean Race, advisors without current bookings since February 1, 2023, can enter, with the first ten bookings made by December 16, 2024, for sailings up to December 31, 2024, leading to prizes up to $75,000 USD. Winners will be announced by January 10, 2025, with payouts following the completion of the qualifying voyages.
