Farooq Abdullah urged the people attending the rally to safeguard their votes, emphasizing the need to scrutinize the functioning of the EVMs. He expressed hope that once the india Alliance secures a majority, the EVMs would be eliminated, and the election commission would regain its independence, comprising individuals dedicated to the nation.


The rally saw the participation of various prominent leaders, including rahul gandhi and priyanka gandhi Vadra from the Congress, uddhav thackeray from the shiv sena, sharad pawar from the ncp, mehbooba mufti from the PDP, MK stalin from tamil Nadu, Tejashwi Yadav from the RJD, Prakash Ambedkar from the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi, among others.


Tamil Nadu chief minister MK stalin emphasized the necessity of unity in india and criticized prime minister Modi for excessive foreign trips and spreading false propaganda. sharad pawar of the ncp asserted the need for change in the country and criticized Modi's governance, stating that Modi's guarantees were no longer credible.


Mehbooba Mufti of the PDP criticized the Modi government for seeking votes on the basis of the Pulwama attack and highlighted the erosion of constitutional rights in Kashmir. Prakash Ambedkar of the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi stressed the importance of collective action and raised concerns over nepotism in politics.


The rally commenced with floral tributes to shiv sena founder balasaheb thackeray at Mumbai's shivaji Park.
