Manchester United vs Liverpool Highlights; MUN 4-3 LIV, FA Cup quarterfinal; Amad Diallo scores dream extra time goal

Manchester United beats Liverpool in the fergiest of fergie time as youngster Amad Diallo scores winner which was almost last kick of the night. United started the scoring but ended the first half a goal behind. Antony scored a late equaliser pushing the match to extra time. Although Liverpool struck first in extra time, Rashford found the net for United in the 112th minute which was expected to be the last goal of the night. However, Amad Diallo made the Old Trafford go wild by scoring in the first minute of stoppage time, placing them in the semifinals. 

Manchester United breaks into a counter as Garnacho sprints with the ball with Amad Diallo on his side. He squares it to the youngster in the nick of time and Diallo finishes in the bottom right corner off of the post. 

Dalot makes a crucial sliding tackle inside the box as Gakpo was in on goal and about take the shot. 

Rashford was on the left flank as he plays a cutting pass into the box for Mc Tominay, but the Scottish playmaker fails to keep it on target. 

Nunez makes a loose pass and gives the ball away in his own half. McTominay plays a through down the middle and sets up a shot for Rashford as he makes amends for his misses and finishes it in the bottom right corner. 

Man U is pushing ahead in numbers. Maguire gets hold of the ball inside the box and takes a shot but straight towards the keeper. 

Liverpool is ahead but only just but it seems like its hungry for more. United is struggling to win the ball back and hold possession. 

Eliott scores as he takes a shot from distance. The ball gets deflected by Eriksen and then into the net. 

Rashford gets a similar chance as before as he was open inside the box and gets the ball on his feet, but he misses the target yet again. 

Garnacho’s back heel sets up a shot for Linedlof on the right but he just finds the side netting. 

Gakpo dinks it in for Mac Allister inside the box but the ball goes over the post. 

Antony takes a shot from the edge of the box and almost found the net. Missed the target by mere inches. 

Manchester United resumes the game again after its heroics in regulation time. 

Rashford is played a ball into the box completely open and in front of goal but his far post shot goes slightly wide-off of the target. That was the last kick of the game and the match goes onto extra time. 

Four minutes added as stoppage time.

Antony pushed on the right wing and slots a cross in that is deflected by Van Dijk. 

Antony plays it to Garnacho on the left who pushes ahead and gives it back to the Brazilian inside the box as he holds two defenders off of the ball and after a skillfull turn, finished in the bottom right corner!

Elliott switches wings, plays it Gakpo who takes an unexpected shot from distance. Wins a corner.

Five Liverpool flavours attacked together as United’s backline was falling behind and only two players were there to defend but Elliott makes a loose pass in front of goal and the chance goes begging for the Reds. 

Garnacho was in on goal but he was forced away from goal by Lindelof. United awarded a corner but it amounts to nothing. 

Garnacha makes a solo effort on the left wing and cross it in but it is cleared by Van Dijk.

Anton and Maguire come in for United. Harvey Elliot replaces Szboszlai for Liverpool. 

Liverpool is passing it around in its own half as United continues to get more frustrated. 

Nunez takes a touch creating space on the right inside the box and takes a sjhot towards near post which is saved beautifully by Onana’s quick reflexes. 

Mac Allister takes a free-kick from 25 yards out but narrowly misses the target. 

Mac Allsister takes a shot from distance as Onana saves it, completely outstretched and gives away a corner. 

Garnacho takes a shot which is blocked by Robertson’s leg but the ball strikes his hand after as the stadium roars for handball. The ref says play on and Liverpool breaks into a counter. Salah plays it ahead to Nunez on his left as he takes a shot targeting the far post but misses the target. 

Bruno dribbles it around the backline from the left and makes a late cross for Hojlund inches away from goal but the striker fails to make a connection. 

Liverpool breaks into a counter as Nunez plays it Sahal in front of goal who plays it through for Szoboszlai but the ball is intercepted right on time. 

United lost the plot right before halftime as it conceded two goals in three minutes and will be hoping to score an early equalizer in second half. 

Liverpool’s push near the end of first half pulls it ahead of United in style. Man U started the game strong creating good chances, however, Liverpool dominated the half towards the end and got its well-deserving two goal. 

Nunez takes a shot from the left as the keeper saves it, but the ball goes straight to Salah on the rebound as he scores an easy goal off of the post. 

Quansah makes an explosive run into the box beating defenders on the left and squares it to Nunez who was in the middle of the box. The Uruguayan instea for attempting a shot, passes to Mac Allister instead who finishes it in the bottom left corner. 

Roberston plays a long through to Nunez from the left wing but the striker makes a heavy touch and loses possession from inside the penalty area. 

Salah plays a cutting pass to Endo inside the box who buries the ball into the net. VAR checks and finds that Salah was off-side in the lead-up of the game. 

Bruno unleashes a shot form distance targetting the left top corner but the keeper saves it. 

Diaz tries to dribble around Dalot on the left inside the box but the ball is cleared away. 

Robertson slots a cross in but the ball is cleared away. Szoboszlai tries to attempt a volley from the edge of the box but straight at the keeper. 

Lindelof stops Nunez who tries to cut in from the right,. 

Bruno takes a free-kick from a dangerous position. Takes a shot on goal from a tight angle on the right but just misses the target. 

Liverpool squanders another chance, this time, Szboszlai sets a shot for Gomez inside the box but his shot too goes over the post. 

Mainoo dribbles into the box from the left beating two players but fails to take a shot. Seconds later, Diaz cuts it in and sets up a shot for Robertson inside the box but the full-back fires it way over the bar. 

McTominay taps a stray ball into an empty net to pull United in front. Garnacho finds space on the left and takes a shot which is saved by the keeper, but the ball soars high up and Scott was there in a timely fashion to tap it in. 

Nunez plays a cross from the left wing to an unmarked Salah as he takes a first-timed volley and beat the keeper, but also misses the post. 

Szboszlai plays a cutting pass into the box from the right flank but intercepted well by Varane. 

Garnacho plays it across the box from the left to Rashford who takes a solid first-timed shot towards the far-post but a lovely save by Kelleher to keep things level. 

Wan Bissaka plays it to Mainoo who pushes ahead and plays it again to Bissaka inside the box but his shot lacks power and quality. 

Bruno kicks the game off as United will be hoping to not make mistakes at the back against the high-pressing Liverpool.
