Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino threw what sounds like one of the most boring BBQs in history as he tried to raise spirits at the club.

The boss said he is keen to make the Chelsea training ground feel like ‘home’ and ‘create a good feeling’ between players and staff ahead of Sunday's FA Cup clash with Leicester - LIVE on talkSPORT - but there was a big catch in this get-together.

We all love a BBQ, and Argentinans are no exception with their famous love of steak.

But it’s perhaps no surprise that the Average Joe’s idea of a BBQ and the spread laid out for professional athletes might be slightly different.

Still, Poch’s shindig sounded a bit lame, as players were said to be closely watched by the club’s strict nutritionists. Spoil sports!

There were no burgers, no chips and no alcohol on offer, as players instead were given a range of specialist sausages, lean cuts of beef and healthy green salad, all washed down with water and orange juice.
