‘Increased DA will be given along with the salary for the month of March’

According to the statement, 'Government employees will start receiving increased DA with their salary from march 2024. Along with this, the outstanding payment for the months of january and february will be made in the month of May. Along with this, the state government has also issued orders to provide dearness relief (DR) to its pensioners and family pensioners from january 1, 2024. They will also be paid DR along with their march 2024 pension/family pension payable in April, 2024 and the arrears of january and february will be paid in the month of May.

DA of 2 lakh 62 thousand pensioners will increase

Let us tell you that on the lines of employees coming under the Central government, the employees taking salary and pension as per the 7th Pay Commission in haryana will get 50 percent dearness allowance. More than 2.5 lakh employees in the state are taking salaries as per the 7th Pay Commission. Due to which they will directly benefit from this decision. With this, there will be an increase in DA of about 2 lakh 62 thousand pensioners. 2 months arrears of 4 percent dearness allowance will be given. Whereas DA for the month of march will come along with the next salary.

Earlier, 46 percent dearness allowance was being given to pensioners and employees. By getting 50 percent dearness allowance, DA equal to half of the salary will be given. Dearness allowance will be implemented from last January.
